I have a TENNIS infection in my ELBOW. It really sucks because I love leaning on it.
I'm finally done this freelance project and I got the final check today. It feels good. It was stressful but somehow invigorating. I know I will really appreciate my free time for the next little while. The pressure of the deadline was like being in school all over again, but it was better because there would be money at the end instead of a shitty grade.
I also had a drum lesson yesterday that went pretty well. I got there early and the person before me punked out so I got to use the drums and warm up for about 15 minutes while my teacher got some food. I was actually able to pull off playing something I made up myself. This is hugs because I've been stuck in the "I can't do anything that isn't written down" mindset and I would freeze up when I just had to make something up. I mean, I had been working on this all week so it wasn't exactly spontaneous but I DIDN'T WRITE IT DOWN. This is huge people.
Brent got to meet Weird Al last night and got his photo taken with him. He was totally on cloud 9 when he got home. By the sounds of it through, Chris was way more excited about getting to meet him. Maybe he'll post the photos. If not, I will.
